Cub Scouts are young people usually aged between 8 and 10 years old. They move to the next section Scouts, around 10 ½.

There are lots of fun things that Cubs can take part in. There is a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, music, exploring, computing and collecting. Cubs can work towards a wide range of activities badges.

Each pack usually offers the chance to take part in an annual summer camp or pack holiday.

Cub sections are called packs, with each young person belonging to a six. 5th Billericay Scout group has two cub packs, Commanche and Cherokee.
