Our next camp is carrying on the theme of the Outdoor and Outdoor Plus challenge badges that is the focus for this term. We will be trying some new activities and learning about living outdoors.

This weekend camp at Kingston Ridge Scout Camp Site, Basildon, will give those new scouts a taste of camping the scout way. It is also the opportunity for all the scouts to achieve certain elements of the challenge badges they are working towards this term. There will be a focus on planning and cooking there chosen menu and participating in outdoor camp craft activities.

Drop Off: Friday 14th November 2014 at 19.00
Pick Up: Sunday 16th November 2014 at 12.00

This is a camp, so Scouts will need full kit - a kit list will be issued well in advance. Scouts will need to have had their evening meal before they arrive. Drinks and snacks will be served at the end of activities on Sunday before parents collect.

If you are attending, as well as the confirmation form below can you please complete the Kingston Ridge consent form as well and bring along with the other documents.

Please complete the slip below (even if your Scout is not intending to attend) to book your place on the camp and enclose a cheque for the full amount of £25.00 made payable to Genesis Scout Troop by Friday 24th October 2014.
