Written by Graham Pavitt

Following the success of our previous camps, we have arranged another exciting event for Friday 19th - Sunday 21st June to be held at Belchamps Scout Campsite in Hawkwell.  We have kept the cost of the Camp at £55.00 which includes accommodation and site fees, food and all activities.

We will be camping in tents on our usual site which has an adjacent toilet and shower block.

Cubs should arrive in full uniform at 6.00pm; you are welcome to stay until we hold our opening ceremony.

Please make sure your child has eaten a full meal before they arrive as we will only be providing a snack and drink for supper later in the evening.

Please see the attached sheets for more information, which consist of a permission form, Shooting Consent Form & Kit list. The kit list can be found under the Policies section of this website.

Please complete and return the permission slips with full payment of £55.00 by Wednesday 3rd June at the latest.

If you have any queries or questions, please do not hesitate to speak to one of us.

Yours in Scouting

Graham, Lawrence & Martin

By any person who has been convicted of a crime and sentenced to a term of imprisonment (or its equivalent for young persons) of 3 months or more.  The prohibition applies in all circumstances, including handling and firing at an approved shooting club or at a clay pigeon shoot where a certificate is not ordinarily required.  It also applies to the possession or use of other categories of firearms and ammunition such as AIRGUNS or shot cartridges for which a certificate is not needed.  A sentence of 3 months to 3 years attracts a 5 year prohibition shorter ones no prohibition but a longer one means a life ban.
